This role is mainly to support R&D projects in the aspects related to mechanical engineering design for battery cells. The job includes, but is not limited:- Drafting of mechanical drawings (2D drawings and 3D CAD models), design the design and development of specifications- Validation of cell designs, as well as supporting the design and development of fixtures, assembly processes, enclosure, and terminal materials selection- Evaluating materials and designs (may include using simulation and conducting experiment), and developing products consistent with customer and manufacturing requirements- Leading and executing battery design projects that incorporate mechanical, thermal, and electrical engineering elements- Supporting a development of production scalability- Supporting failure analysis related to mechanical design- Design an equipment prototype for process development and lead the fabrication process
การศึกษา (Formal Education)- Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or related field with +3 years’ experience in mechanical design and simulation, or- Master or Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with + 1 year experience in mechanical design and simulation
ประสบการณ์ ( Work Experience)- 2-5 years of mechanical design experience- Experience in the preparation of mechanical drawing- Experience in computational software for mechanical simulation
คุณสมบัติเฉพาะตำแหน่ง (Specific Qualification for Position)- Experience in product development area- Understanding of material science of components used in mechanical design (metals, insulators. plastics, connectors. gaskets, adhesives etc.) and their fabrication processes- Familiarity with Finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal system analysis is preferred- Experience is battery industry is preferred. Also, candidate with simulation and experiment experience is preferred
ความรู้ ทักษะ (Specific knowledge Skills):- Strong understanding of mechanical. thermal, and electrical engineering fundamentals- Proficient in the use of the designing and simulating software for Advanced R&D activities (AutoCAD, Solid works, Ansys, COMSOL, etc.)- Experience developing and documenting component level and sub- level specifications- Experience defining test plans, designing test setups, conducting the test, and analyzing data is preferred- Experience with obtaining compliance and certification to global standards is preferred
